Rainbow Bay: The southern most beach in Queensland, Rainbow Bay is located in Coolangatta just before Snapper Rocks. It is much quieter than a lot of the other Gold Coast beaches with just as much sand and surf on offer.

Especially popular for swimmers, it is protected and is known for low waves. However, when the bar conditions are right and the winds are blowing offshore you can expect great surf conditions.

Rainbow Bay is a patrolled beach seven days a week between 9am-5pm.

Surfers Paradise: A trip to the GC just isn’t complete without a day at Queensland’s most popular beach! Surfers Paradise beach is set on 2km of breathtaking shoreline. As the name suggests, the breaks are perfect for surfing, with the best conditions on the outer bar.

Adjacent to the The Esplanade, there are plenty of things to see and do apart from the sun and surf. Have lunch, do some shopping or stop by any number of attractions. You’re really only limited by your imagination!

Rips are present so it’s always best to swim between the flags. Surfers Paradise is a patrolled beach seven days a week between 8am-5pm.
